Athol #8 in Massachusetts

AtholtopAthol ranks #8 in the state in its support for technology development and growth, according the Massachusetts High Technology Council's latest municipal rankings.

The High Tech Council ranks all 351 towns in Massachusetts "to measure the support of state and local officials for the priorities of the technology economy."

Athol's top ten showing includes high marks for fair commercial property taxes and expedited permitting plus a #1 ranking in the state for percentage improvement in 10th grade math MCAS scores.
